Awhile ago I was asked by our municipality to create a gift basket as a door prize at an upcoming banquet. This was one of the elements I included as part of it; something the recipient could wear, or give away.
Other pieces of the basket included a 6 card set, 4 tags, a notepad, a bookmark, a small ink pad, a stamp set and a little pretty package of a few punched butterflies, twine, buttons and glitter. All in all, once it was wrapped up in cellophane and tied up with ribbon and twine I was pretty impressed with myself, lol.
This brooch was so easy to make that I made another one for aunt as a hostess gift on Easter weekend. I won't list my supplies specifically because really you could substitute any felt and die cuts that suited you. In case you're interested, I used Papertrey Ink products. I used the cream twine to stitch a pin backing to the back of the brooch.
