My friend Tracey McNeely organizes a fabulous event every year called 25 Days of Christmas Tags. She works so hard at this, and this year is even doing it with an injury! Tracey is amazing.
I have been following along each day in awe of all the fabulous inspiration and had the chance to play along. Day 4 featured Reverse Confetti and I loved the sweet tag that Audrey Tokach created. The pastels, all the layers, and of course the fabulous Reverse Confetti product are what inspired me.
Here are five tags I made based on her tag:
I heat embossed the Diagonal Stripe background using clear embossing powder on tags I die cut using a scalloped circle. I stamped and die cut the moose from Merry Christmoose and watercoloured it using Zig markers. The sentiment was stamped in a crisp black ink and added as a cardstock strip across the bottom of the tag. A silver snowflake and coordinating sequin top it off. I went back later (after the photo, oops!) and added some silver thread to them to attach to the gifts.
Thanks for stopping in today! I hope you'll play along with Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags too. There's so much inspiration there, and it's the season for giving!
MOOSE'd delightful tags, Marcie!!! Thanks for playing TAG with us at 25 Days!!!
