The Card Concept #97- Colourful Basics

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. The rainbow stripes caught my eye (I looooove a good rainbow element), and the furniture called to mind moving into a new home.

Here's my card using a Clean and Graphic style.

Using my MISTI I stamped the Wide Stripes in multiple colours along the card base. The Abstract Skyline was stamped in black and fussy cut, then adhered over the rainbow background. The sentiment was stamped and die cut from Lil Inker's Warm Welcome set. Truthfully it is stamped on a strip of green cardstock because I left out green on the stamped rainbow background. Who forgets green?! I need to go back to kindergarten to learn my rainbow order! :)

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!

  1. Marcie, I love your card! I love how you were inspired by a "home" theme! That's awesome! I am looking forward to another great new season of The Card Concept with you!
    Crafty Hugs,

  2. LOVE your take on the challenge! The city line against the rainbow of colors looks fantastic!

  3. What a great design!!! I love the colors too. So sweet and happy :-)

Thanks for leaving me some love!
