The Card Concept #101- Rustic Fall

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. The rusty old truck inspired the chalkboard/distressed look of my card base, and the lovely pumpkins account for the rest of my inspiration this week.

I chose to make a card in the Clean & Layered style this week and did lots of masking and Copic colouring to create my cute autumn scene.

I used Fall Friends from My Favorite Things to create my scene, stamping and masking as I went along, and Copic markers to colour it all in. Glossy Accents are on her boots and hair tie, and the sentiment is heat embossed with clear powder. The panel was die cut using a stitched rectangle die and adhered using foam tape to the black card base. For the chalky look I lightly blended white pigment ink over the black cardstock. Easy peasy and a fun look.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!
