The Card Concept #99- Sunflower Serenade

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. Those bold colours are so rich and striking. I just LOVE the big sunflowers upfront and central, stealing the show.

I created my Clean and Layered card based on those flowers and bold colours.

I started with an A2 card base and adhered a white cardstock panel that had been dry embossed using an impression plate. The flower and leaves were cut from the Lacy Flowers and coordinating Mats (the mats are now retired) dies by Waffle Flower and glued together. The sentiment was stamped in red and clear heat embossed.

Here's a close-up of the dry-embossed background. It has a nice subtle texture.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!

  1. Wow Marcie! The texture on that sunflower is beautiful - perfect for a clean and simple card.

  2. Your beautiful sunflower is so creative! Love!

  3. Love all of the swirly pretties on that sunflower <3 So pretty!

Thanks for leaving me some love!
