The Card Concept #103- Holiday Treats

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! We are creeping closer and closer to Christmas and I am loving all the holiday inspiration in our challenge this week. Those cupcakes. Yum.  They make me want to actually go and bake something! Don't worry...I'll stick to cardmaking. Trust me.

The watercolor look of the cupcakes paired with classic Christmas red and green is what inspired me for my Clean & Simple card. I used a fantastic holiday stamp set called Great Joy by Pinkfresh Studio for my creation today.

On watercolor cardstock, I stamped my main wreath image over and over (and oooooover) using my MISTI tool and Distress Markers. Using one colour at a time, I coloured the bits and pieces in and when it was all finished used a small water brush to paint it all in. The sentiment was stamped with a dark blue ink, then again with Versamark and heat embossed with clear glitter powder. The watercolor panel is adhered to a green A2 card base.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with! Thanks for stopping in today and have a great day.
