Clean and Simple Celebration!

It's the annual My Favorite Things Superstar contest and I'm playing along!
My card today is for the Clean and Simple category. A major design element for a clean and simple card includes great use of white space. Well- white space doesn't have to be the obvious! I've used black cardstock instead of the usual white for an elegant look.

Using the Uncorked stamp set and Wine Service dies I created a fun slider card that let's the recipient clink glasses in celebration! Fun fact- clean and simple cards aren't always quick and easy to make...in fact sometimes they take longer because the simple placement of every element needs to be *just* right.

On a black cardstock panel I die cut the Leaping Slider Channel and heat embossed the sentiment using gold powder below it. The wine glasses were cut using gold and silver sparkle paper, and the silver glass was adhered to one side of the channel. The gold cup was adhered to a slider element through the channel which allowed it to move easily from one end to the other. Some sequins were added in silver and gold because...well...sequins are fun, that's why!! The entire panel was adhered to a black A2 card base using foam tape.

Cheers to you all! No matter if your glass has wine or soda or good ol' water, I hope you have an amazing weekend. Good luck to everyone playing along in the Superstar contest.
