Friendly Sunflowers

I am fully embracing autumn as it approaches. ALL the seasons get love from me...winter, spring, summer and fall...but autumn is just SO enjoyable. That's why I am adoring all the card challenges right now that are taking on fall inspiration with their colours and themes.

Today I'm playing along with Color Throwdown and their crisp fall palette (seen below my card). I was definitely inspired by the sunflowers on the table in the picture and used Ellen Hutson's Mondo Gerbera Daisy. Yes,'s a daisy stamp/die and not a sunflower but deal with it. :)

As mentioned above, the daisy stamp and coordinating die are from Ellen Hutson. Even the lovely 'hi friend' sentiment is from that coordinating die set! I stamped the flower on watercolour paper and used my Daniel Smith watercolors to paint it. It's adhered to a white cardstock panel cut from the pretty So Stylish cover plate from Lil' Inker Designs. The sentiment was cut from red cardstock, some sequins were added, and the whole thing was glued to a kraft A2 card base.

Here's the autumn-ly awesome colour palette!

Thanks for stopping in today, and I hope you all have a fantastic day!
