The Card Concept #120- Cozy Cottage

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. This reminds me of a grandma's kitchen...not MY grandma's but just any grandma in general. :) So warm and cozy, beautiful and flowery, and a little bit country and elegant. Love it!

This classy and elegant kitchen deserved the same sort of card from me this week. :) *Almost* monochromatic, the rich colours and gorgeous sentiment make this creation perfect for our challenge's classy and elegant category!

On an A2 card base I stamped the Plaid background from Concord & 9th using my MISTI and Cornflower ink. The florals from Hello Lovely were stamped on a white cardstock panel in Navy ink and die cut using the coordinating die. The edges were lightly blended with the same ink and some Stickles glitter was added to the flower centres. The sentiment was die cut from dies included in the same coordinating set and 'hello' was adhered with foam tape.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!
