The Card Concept #121- Adventure Awaits

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge. I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. This one makes me want to go on vacation to somewhere exotic!

I kept my card clean and layered today with some simple patterned papers, stamping and heat embossing. The neutral colours and stacked luggage were what I drew my inspiration from.

Adding special touches like Glossy Accents and gold heat embossing can give a somewhat dull card a little excitement! My first attempt had just stamping for the stack of books and it really felt flat to me. The gold gave it a touch of elegance it needed! Don't be afraid to start over or try again if you don't like your first try! It's only paper...

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Supplies:
Stamps: Glorious Globes Basics (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Surf Blue, Dark Chocolate, Beanstalk Green, Black (Simon Says Stamp); Versamark (Tsukineko)
Dies: Stitched Rectangle (Simon Says Stamp)
Paper: Dark Chocolate, White cardstock (Simon Says Stamp); woodgrain patterned paper (My Mind's Eye)
Other: Glossy Accents, gold embossing powder (Ranger)
