The Card Concept #122- Bountiful Blessings

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. This picture makes me want to put on a cozy sweater and go for a walk to check out the changing fall colours.

I could have been inspired by so many things about this picture but I choose to go with the gorgeous colour scheme and focus on the patterns found on the door and steps. Classy and elegant was how my card turned out with rich colours and layered pops of gold and sparkle.

For the main panel of the card, I stenciled my pattern (a retired My Favorite Things stencil) onto white cardstock using dye inks and then adhered the die cut feathers. Some gold thread was messily glued in a bundle, with the heat embossed sentiment strip adhered over top using foam tape. A few sequins were added, and the entire panel was adhered to a white A2 card base using foam tape. All supplies used are listed below at the end of this post.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!
