The Card Concept #123- Thanksgiving Table

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. That is such a pretty table! The colourful florals and how the white candles kept everything fresh and bright were what inspired me for my card today.

My card falls into two of our categories- clean and layered, and classy and elegant. It's layered and yet full of white space to keep it clean, while the sparkle and texture adds to the elegant feel of it.

Starting with a Kraft A2 card base, I used white wood grain paper cut to size and adhered to it for my base layer. For the focal piece I stamped and die cut the blooms from Blooms Fill-in by Concord & 9th and layered onto a piece of vellum that was also die cut. The sentiment was die cut and heat embossed with Midas Touch embossing glitter by WOW (SUCH a sparkly powder- LOVE it). Everything was layered using clear foam tape onto the base and a few clear sequins were added to finish it off.

Here's a closer look at the layers and dimension.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!
