The Card Concept #125- Home for the Holidays

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. What a homey and delightful looking porch! So festive and trendy with the black and white plaid with pops of red and greenery. Love it!

My classy and elegant card today plays on all the colour and pattern influences of the inspiration photo, as well as that perfect little truck with a tree in the back of it. I HAD to substitute a VW van though because that's what my family is all about. :)

The Christmas Care-a-Van set by The Greetery was absolutely perfect for this challenge. I stamped and die cut all the elements and assembled them together. The greenery and tree on top have a touch of sparkle on them from Stickles glitter. The van is popped up with foam tape on a die cut rectangle, which is also popped up with foam tape (lots of dimension on this card!) onto a plaid piece of designer paper. White embossing on black is such a crisp look and I used a sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes set (my FAVE sentiment set by far this holiday season!) by My Favorite Things. Some tiny silver sequins finish it off.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!
