CAS(E) this Sketch #354 Guest Designer

I am guest designing for CAS(E) this Sketch this week and am excited to show you the fun sketch and my card! Love is in the air and valentine cards are in full production at my house so that is what I have for you today.

I heat embossed a part of the You Are background from Simon Says Stamp in white embossing powder onto a white A2 card base. Using a circle mask I created from thin cardstock, I blended Bubble Gum ink from Hero Arts over a section of the embossing for a spotlight look. Fun fact- only a day or two later the awesome masking stencils from Taylored Expressions arrived in the mail and they would have been faster and more convenient to use! The 'love' sentiment was cut and trimmed from the Peace & Love die set by CZ Designs and paired with a heat embossed sentiment also from CZ Designs. Silver glitter die cut hearts were added in a vertical row and silver sequins were adhered as a final touch.

Here is the sketch I followed.

Thanks to CAS(E) this Sketch for having me as a guest designer this week and thanks for stopping in! I hope you all have a great day.
