The Card Concept #127- Cozy Cabin

I am very late in joining The Card Concept challenge this week! I have had the flu and all the fevers and chills that go along with it. Yes, I had the flu shot. Being a Type 1 diabetic it is highly recommended but sadly didn't seem to make a difference this season.  I am finally feeling better and getting around to showing you what I made for this fun challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below.

Even though there is snow in that photo, it still seems to look cozy, doesn't it? My clean and layered card (clean lines, lots of layers, fresh looking) was inspired by the pillows- the plaid and the deer pattern on them all.

I'm going to keep my description short and sweet so I can go back to napping...still getting my energy back! On an A2 white card base I adhered patterned paper, and then the die cut deer head (cut twice and off-set) with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed on grey cardstock and cut with the coordinating die.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!
