The Card Concept #128- Be Mine Valentine

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. That is such a fun and fresh looking scene. The graphic design is definitely more my style than flowery pinks, hearts and all that lovey dovey stuff. :)

The black and white pillows, the 'be mine' sentiment, and all the pops of red with the hearts is what inspired my clean and graphic card today.

Starting with a white A2 card base, I adhered a black cardstock panel across the bottom half of the card. The big heart was die cut twice from black and white scraps of cardstock, while the sentiment and little hearts were all cut from glitter paper. It ended up very simple and striking and didn't take long to create!

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Dies: Big heart (Papertrey Ink); little hearts (Lawn Fawn); Emmitt Alphabet-retired (My Favorite Things)
Paper: black, white cardstock (Simon Says Stamp); red glitter (misc.)

  1. I love the shimmer and sparkle on this sweet CAS Valentine!

  2. What a wonderful graphic design...the glimmer words really make this card pop!

  3. Might not have taken you long, but your card has a wonderful impact! Sometimes these CAS are the hardest and yours is perfect!

Thanks for leaving me some love!
