The Card Concept #134- Mother's Day

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. What a gorgeous picture! Wouldn't a bouquet like that just look so sweet on anyone's table?

I was inspired by the colours of the flowers, as well as the ornate gold picture frame for my classy and elegant card today. It was fun making this card. Usually I am more of a clean and simple card maker but I loved adding layers and fun details to this creation!

A few fun facts about this card below:
  • The gold frame was covered in Versamark and embossed using gold powder.
  • The 'heartfelt greetings' and background pattern were embossed in white.
  • I added a bit of glitter glue to the center of each sequin for some sparkle.
  • Green ink was lightly sponged halfway down the die cut sentiment for an ombre look.
  • There's lots of foam tape used for dimension.
Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!
