Pink & Main *New* Ergonomic mini Blender Brush

I was so lucky to have Pink & Main send me their new Ergonomic mini blender brush to try out! They also included the original, and a fun hibiscus stencil to use with them.

As you can see, the brushes are small, perfectly sized to fit in your hand and have the softest bristles ever. They are packaged in a little holder too, so no chance of ink smudging all over the place if you remember to put them back in the holder. Very convenient!

The original size is perfect for a large panel of ink blending. I used Distress Oxide Inks on watercolour cardstock and was able to seamlessly blend three colours smoothly and quickly.

For the colourful panel shown in the picture above, I used the large brush to lay down a soft pink ink (all inks used here for this panel are Lawn Fawn). Then I used the mini brush for the stenciled background. This design comes in three pieces, and is intended to be layered together to create the floral background shown. The mini brush was perfect for the smaller leaves and flowers and I used it to add darker colour around the edges for a more dimensional look to the flowers and leaves.

Isn't that pretty?

Like a lot of blender brushes out there, I think one for each colour family would be helpful. The ink dind't seem to transfer too much after giving it a good scrub on scrap paper, but you can't go wrong with more. :) They are sturdy and comfortable to use and I will be getting some more!

Thank you to Pink & Main for sending me them to try!
