World Cardmaking Day creations!

Did you participate in World Cardmaking Day? It was this past Saturday, and I'm happy to say I spent the day creating in my studio happily making cards. There were so many challenges from various companies out there to participate in and I chose a few to spend my time on.

My first card is for the Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine colour challenge. I used warm, analogous colours to create my 'hello, friend' card and products from The Stamp Market. There is die cutting, stamping, heat embossing and some sparkle, which to me are all the elements you need (or I need lol) in a clean and simple card.

My next card is for Pinkfresh Studio. They have many challenges to play along with, and I chose the first one of the day- diecutting. I die cut the 'hello with a bouquet' die several times and pieced all the bits together for a colourful result. The piece is adhered to an A2 card base using foam adhesive and I added clear sparkle to the the letters.

In the next few days I"ll be sharing more cards I made over the weekend for various challenges on my Instagram account. You can check me out there by following the link under my profile picture on the right-hand column.

Did you celebrate World Cardmaking Day? What did you make? Don't forget for many of these challenges you can link up your creations for a few more days, so you have time to play along!

Thanks for stopping in today and have a great day!
