The Card Concept #147

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. Isn't that a picture perfect little setup? Definitely not what my son's remote learning desk looks like these days. :)

My card is what I would call classy and elegant. Rich and heavy papers, embellishments, a classy sentiment and some florals for good measure. Even though the inspiration photo seems a bit heavy and masculine to me, I wanted to give my card more of a feminine look. The stacked luggage and books inspired me to use patterned papers in my design today.

This was an easy card to put together with the help of gorgeous patterned papers and coordinating ephemera from the Storyteller line by Vicki Boutin. I trimmed several pieces into strips and glued them to an A2 card base. The typewriter ephemera was adhered using foam tape. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and cut it out using the matching die. A few enamel dots were added and that's it! Easy peasy!

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with! *Please, please, please be mindful of the challenge rules. Post the inspiration photo, link to the challenge and don't combine your card with another inspiration challenge. Unfortunately many beautiful cards are not eligible for winning our challenge because they don't meet the criteria.*
