The Card Concept #150- Luck of the Irish

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. This photo seems to just scream springtime to me! The beginning of March just seems to symbolise brighter and better weather for me here in Ontario. I know it isn't technically the first day of spring yet, but a girl can dream.

The beautiful arrangement of flowers and cheery yellow and green colour scheme is what inspired me for my clean and layered card today. I didn't have anything related to St. Patrick's Day so instead decided to create something springy and floral!

Using a retired Turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th, I stamped the flowers four times in various colours, on a piece of white cardstock, then went back in with the little detail stamps to add depth and interest to the background flowers. The panel was die cut using a stitched rectangle and adhered to a white A2 card base. The 'hugs' sentiment was die cut twice and offset, then adhered with foam tape. An embossed sentiment was added below, and a few clear sequins for some sparkle and shine.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with! *Please, please, please be mindful of the challenge rules. Post the inspiration photo, link to the challenge and don't combine your card with another inspiration challenge. Unfortunately many beautiful cards are not eligible for winning our challenge because they don't meet the criteria.*
